I’ve been helping to create the future for a while now. I became involved in direct marketing when only the term ‘advertising’ was properly understood. I managed some of the first shopping centres in New Zealand. I set up one of the first call centres for a bank, when you didn’t call banks, you went to their branches. I founded the first nationwide home renovation franchise, which has now been copied by two other groups.
